she doesn't remember her love or dependence on alcohol or pills
or voting for our current "president,"... she forgets who he is
she forgets a lot of things and is always confusing
reality with dreams
but she's happier than she's ever been
she smiles more and laughs, she's so much less intense
it's like talking to someone who's always tripping
i am so grateful she is still with us
i am so grateful she made it
in a lot of ways she's healthier than she was before.
